Client’s profile
InPost is a leader in offering modern logistics services (best courier company 2019 according to the Polish Institute for Quality Research). Investors in InPost are US investment funds Advent International and KKR. InPost provides courier and delivery services through a nationwide network of Paczkomat® machines for individual and institutional customers, including end-to-end services for the e-commerce industry.
Couriers deliver millions of parcels every month, and with logistics services for e-commerce, InPost breaks record after record in the volumes handled. The network of Paczkomat® machines is already 7 000 units! This intensive growth is being brought about by rapidly increasing number of parcel volumes handled and customers using the service. In the coming years, InPost will strongly focus on the development of services for e-commerce customers, such as Refrigerator machines and Fulfilment.

The challenge
Given the nature of its services, the company has locations in virtually every corner of Poland. In addition to offices in Krakow and Warsaw and 26 branches across the country, it also has a production facility and a sorting plant. At the same time, the diversity of departments and regions is huge. From courier outposts to customer service, sales, IT, production, R&D or back office departments such as finance, HR, administration, marketing, among others.
Onsite training is provided, but such a wide dispersion makes it a challenge to provide all the necessary training and appropriate skill development for all employees. InPost is growing rapidly all the time, and the driving force is the people. Much depends on their competence and qualification, therefore it is so important to take care of these issues.

The solution
In response to the needs of employees and the entire organization a decision was made to implement an e-learning platform. The selected tool was the Dolineo platform, which is a turnkey system that supports competence development and knowledge management. The decision was determined primarily by the wide range of training courses offered. Dolineo means more than 200 ready-made training modules, courses and knowledge pills, in many fields just waiting to effectively transfer knowledge to employees.
Dolineo’s ability to choose your own development path or add your own training is also a great advantage. In addition, self-creation of e-training using the wizard, knowledge testing and monitoring progress (also by supervisors). (also by supervisors).
“With the help of Dolineo’s customer service department, the implementation was smooth, without long waiting times or complications.”

Outcome
InPost employs more than 2 000 people with individual development needs in different fields. With the help of Dolineo e-learning platform, the company supports the development of employees, who have a constant opportunity to enhance their strengths and learn new skills. Using Dolineo, anyone can choose an independent development path (such as public speech, communication or customer service) and pursue it at any time and place convenient to them, logging in from any device.
Dedicated development paths are very popular among employees. Importantly, over the past year InPost employees, via the Dolineo platform, have completed a total of more than 1 400 training hours. Such a number of hours of training delivered in conventional way – as classroom training – would be very difficult to achieve. And this is the very advantage of the e-learning platform – it helps reduce the cost of on-site training significantly.
“During the outbreak of Covid-19, the training platform became even more important and confirmed further advantages of e-learning and remote knowledge sharing. During this time, our company was still able to take care of the development needs of employees safely and without hindrance.”
